Reagan Byers

Hey, y’all! My name is Reagan Byers, and I am a senior at the University of Alabama. I am majoring in Marketing with a minor in Spanish as well as a certification in Sales. This past summer I had the fantastic opportunity to intern with AT&T in their business sales development program. It was an eye-opening experience that allowed me to gain real-world experience in the field of sales. I created professional relationships with real clients and helped them with any and all solutions to improve their services with us. I am from Dallas, Texas, which I thought was the south until I was promptly reassured it is not when arriving in Alabama. I’ve lived in Dallas my entire life and it truly is one of my favorite cities ever but being in a smaller town like Tuscaloosa has made me more open to the idea of considering other locations to relocate to after graduation. 

When I am not in my classes, I like to fill my free time with activities to keep me occupied throughout the day. I cannot sit and do nothing; I have to have plans to fulfill my days constantly. I usually do this by working. Two other college students and I recently opened up a new Real Estate group here in Tuscaloosa, which is a new and exciting adventure I am looking forward to. My main role is being the Marketing Director for the group along with transaction aspects as well. When I am not working, I hang out with my friends, go on walks outside, and occasionally work out. I also love to binge watch Tv series on all the various streaming services that are out there.

I am excited to be a part of Mosaic as it will be very informative and insightful. I am on the photography team for this semester and have already loved every minute of it. I have owned my camera since I was 16 years old but have never sat down to learn how to use it. Not only am I eager to learn more about how my camera works and all the settings that I can use, I think it will be very interesting capturing different events that take place among our campus. Being able to know how to use and take professional-looking photos will be something that will be useful after my education has ended. My family is full of travelers, so I hope to use the skills I learn this semester in one of our next family vacations together!
