Kinsey Williams

Hi! My name is Kinsey Williams, and I am a freshman Public Relations major from Houston, Texas. Through my positions as Editor-in-Chief of Yearbook and Copy Editor of Newspaper in high school, I quickly realized my love of writing and design and decided I want to pursue them in my career. I am also fostering these passions as an Entertainment Writing Contributor for Alice Magazine, another campus publication that reflects college life at the University of Alabama. 

My love of storytelling is not limited to the written word but is also rooted in theatre as I spent 12 years on the stage. Throughout my time in theatre, I participated in 24 productions, advanced to the state level of the Texas UIL One Act Play competition and served as our company’s Vice President.  

When I found out I could gain hands-on media experience in the classroom through Mosaic, it confirmed that The University of Alabama provides and embraces all I am seeking – opportunities to grow and to immerse myself in the communications industry before I walk the stage.
