Kendra Giles is a junior Dance major and Kinesiology Studies minor, involved with many organizations on campus. She is the Philanthropy Chair for the Dance Honors Society of Alabama, an organization she’s been a member for for 3 year. Giles has performed with Alabama Dance Repertory Dance Theatre since freshman year, and has performed in and choreographed for “Dance Alabama!”. Kendra is also an original cast member of Yonder Contemporary Dance Company, a dance company comprised of students that travels to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, UK. This past summer Yonder received a 4 star rating and sold out shows at the festival. Kendra’s hope is that dance allows her to travel around the world, exploring, taking pictures, and experiencing everything life has to offer.
