Why did you choose to join the Honors College?
“I joined the Honors College in hopes of further enriching my college career with smaller class sizes, working with other students in small groups, and learning more about subjects outside of my major. I felt like the Honors College would help me attain more knowledge on the world as a whole.”
What is your favorite class you have taken in the Honors College?
“My favorite Honors College class has been UH 200- Life as a Scholar. I also enjoyed Honors Accounting and Legal Studies”
What has been your favorite part of being in the Honors College?
“My favorite part of the Honors College has been the group projects within the classes. It has been nice getting to know other students I otherwise wouldn’t have met if I was not in the Honors College.”
What advice would you give to those who want to join the Honors College?
“I would say take as a many Honors Classes as you can- the connections with the students and professors are more personal. I personally have gained more from honors classes than my large lectures because the communication is more in depth.”
