Why did you choose to join the Honors College?
“I knew that it would give me many benefits that I would not have outside of the Honors College, that would help me in the future. I also liked the idea of smaller class sizes, while being surrounded by like minded peers.”
What is your favorite class you have taken in the Honors College?
“UH 100 was my favorite class I have ever taken because it helped me to meet a lot of new people in the honors college that I still hangout with and see everywhere. It also covered the basis of scholarship and being a scholar, which allowed me to form a new way of thinking.”
What has been your favorite part of being in the Honors College?
“I would say that the people I have met are definitely the best part of being in the Honors College. It is super motivating to be surrounded by other hardworking and driven peers.”
What advice would you give to those who want to join the Honors College?
“Definitely apply to join the Honors College, and do it if you get in! The opportunities, and friendships formed through the Honors College have played a huge role in making my UA experience so positive thus far and I’m only a sophomore.”
