Dare to Diagnose is a pre-health organization centered around patient simulations. Their biggest event each year is a competition featuring two rounds. The first round includes an online test intended to assess students’ critical thinking and diagnostic skills. The final round includes a simulated patient interaction round intended to help pre-health students practice bedside manners. This organization’s mission is to improve undergraduates’ understanding of the medical profession by challenging them to interweave the science of medicine with the art of empathy.
