“My first semester on campus freshman year, I was involved in UH 100, Honors Year One. The class was split into small groups and we were all assigned a mentor that we met with once a week. Our groups would have small tasks to preform or be assigned something on campus to participate in, and it really helped me step out of my comfort zone at The University and realize how many opportunities to get involved there are. I would recommend the course to any freshman coming to The University who is looking for tips to make the transition to such a big school a little bit easier!”
