University of Alabama students are constantly streaming out the door of Buffalo Phil’s, a hot spot that prides itself on chicken wings, drink specials and college atmosphere.

This college restaurant is the perfect place to take parents during their weekend in Tuscaloosa, but since it’s a popular drinking venue for students, it might not be the best place to take younger siblings after lunchtime.

Drink specials include $4 pitchers on Monday and Tuesday, $1.50 bottles of beer on Wednesday and $5 wells on Thursday. Happy hour is from 3 – 6 p.m. every day.

Buffalo Phil’s accepts Bama cash, and unlike other restaurants, also accepts Dining Dollars. In addition to aiding students by having multiple paying methods, the restaurant also hires students and offers a to-go option. The menu has a wide range of selections all for a moderate price.

The Buffalo Chicken Dip, a creamy blend of chicken, cheese and signature buffalo sauce, is a customer favorite, along with the Chicken Winger Combo, and assortment of their famous wings and chicken fingers.

Open from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Sunday, Buffalo Phil’s is one of the most well-known places to watch sports or satisfy cravings in Tuscaloosa. A full menu can be found online at http://www.buffalophils.com.
