Sydney is a freshman journalism and political science double major who has lived on both sides of the Mason-Dixon line, including right here in Tuscaloosa County. Her favorite things are Captain America, The West Wing, and Baptist Campus Ministries. She is the intern for the nonprofit organization High Socks for Hope, founded by MLB pitcher David Robertson. She is known for spending far too much time reading about politics and obsessively color-coding her planner. She hopes to go to law school and eventually run a politician’s life as his or her Chief of Staff because Sydney loves politics, but she lacks the patience to be a politician herself..
