Julia Jessop

Julia Jessop is a sophomore at The University of Alabama and is excited to work with Mosaic. She was born in Wichita, Kansas, and still spends most of her summers there. Julia is pursuing a degree in Biology on the pre-med track with a Spanish minor. Her goal is to become a pediatric surgeon. She is also hoping to study abroad in Spain, because she loves traveling and experiencing different cultures.  

In Julia’s free time she can be found volunteering at the local hospital, and schools. She can also be found keeping active by playing volleyball at the rec center and going on runs around campus. She wants to continue helping the community and hopes to hear more of the students’ voices through Mosaic. She is ready to dive into the magazine and she cannot wait to work with this all-female staff.
