Why did you choose to join the Honors College?
“I joined the Honors College because I wanted to challenge myself in college the way I did in high school. It didn’t hurt that I knew a few friends from high school would be joining the Honors College with me.”
What is your favorite class you have taken in the Honors College?
“I think this counts, but my favorite has been Honors Action. It was really fun to go out into the community and make new friends while helping those around me.”
What has been your favorite part of being in the Honors College?
“I’d have to go with the people I’ve been able to meet over the years. Most of the people in the program are really fun to be around. A lot of us have had interesting paths on the way to the Honors College, so it’s fun to get to know everybody.”
What advice would you give to those who want to join the Honors College?
“Just go for it if you can. The classes are not hard, so don’t get scared away thinking you’re going to ruin your GPA. To be honest, the classes are actually really fun. The professors are great and actually care about teaching you. And, like I said, the people are great.”
