Why did you choose to join the Honors College?

“I chose to join the honors college because I wanted to do something to set me apart from others. I heard about all the great experiences and opportunities it has to offer and sent my application.

What is your favorite class you have taken in the Honors College?

My favorite class I have taken so far for the honors college is principles of macroeconomics. Due to the size of honors classes being smaller, the instructors teach on a more personalized level which makes it more interesting to learn.

What has been your favorite part of being in the Honors College?

“My favorite part of the honors college has to be the professors. They seem to be much more open to discussions and have a better time teaching the course. To me, this makes learning the material more interesting and effortless.

What advice would you give to those who want to join the Honors College?

“I would advise those applying to the honors college to seek out several opportunities that are provided for you. The school and the honors college are full of new involvement opportunities, and to get the full experience; students should try to break through their comfort zone.

What’s a fun fact about yourself? 

“I almost got bit once by a shark off the coast of the Bahamas!”
