Katie Allen

Alabama based Psychology major, Kathryn Allen, also known as Katie, is a senior at the University of Alabama. She was born and raised in West Blocton, a small town about 30 minutes from campus.

She is pursuing a minor in creative writing and is working towards becoming a published author. Katie’s career goal is to become a counseling psychologist for trauma patients ranging from all age groups.

She is very excited to be part of the photography team and learn the ins and outs of photography, along with how to work with the rest of the team to put together a finished project. Katie believes that it is important to try new things. One of her favorite memories is when she went ziplining over an inactive volcano in the Philippines.
