Marissa Elkins

Marissa Elkins is a senior at the University of Alabama studying Creative Media with a minor in Communications Studies. She is from Dothan, Alabama, which is also known as the peanut capital of the world. This is her third semester of Mosaic, as she previously worked on the Design team and as Design editor. This semester, Marissa is working as the Visual Director, helping to oversee the Design and Photography team. Marissa likes to watch Netflix and Tiktok and hang out with her friend when she isn’t doing work for Mosaic and her other classes. She hopes to work with video production, so she is attempting to learn how to make more and better Tiktoks. In addition, Marissa is a big dog lover, and back home, she has two dogs that she treats like her own children.
