Kendall Moore

Hello! My name is Kendall Moore and I am a Sophomore here at the University of Alabama. I am on the digital media team for Mosaic for a second semester! I am studying Advertising and while I don’t know exactly what I want to do yet, I love the creative aspects of business and want a job that allows me to travel all over the country.

I was born and raised in the small town of Guntersville, Alabama. I have two siblings; a younger brother, Jackson, and a puppy, Lewi. If you know me, you know I am obsessed with my dog. I often make the two-hour drive home just to spend some time with him on the weekends. Don’t tell my parents that, they think I come home to spend time with them (just kidding Mom and Dad!).

I knew coming to the University of Alabama would be a big change from my small hometown, but I have loved every second of it so far. While living in a much larger city has had its ups and downs, it has ultimately forced me to step out of my comfort zone. With that, I have truly been able to grow and meet new people from all over the country. 

When I am not doing schoolwork, my hobbies consist of trying all of the different coffee shops in Tuscaloosa, spending time on the lake, and painting. So far, my favorite coffee shop is Heritage House and you can find me there every Saturday morning. I love to spend time on the lake here in Tuscaloosa. Growing up on a lake was one of the biggest blessings so it brings back many memories of home. Painting is also another way I relieve stress. It has been one of my favorite things to do ever since I was a child. My parents pushed me to take art classes growing up and I am forever grateful that they did. I spend a lot of my time painting for my friends and family and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
