Why did you choose to join the Honors College?
“I actually decided to join the Honors College during my sophomore year. After my freshman year, I felt comfortable that I would be able to handle the extra workload and liked that they offered smaller classes for my major”
What opportunities have you explored in the Honors College?
“I was a student in Accounting 211 and was a part of the Lift program. I got to volunteer with elementary school students and felt like this is an opportunity I wouldn’t have gotten to experience without being a member of the Honors College.”
What has been your favorite class you have taken in the Honors College?
“My favorite honors class would have to be UH 208 The Scholar’s Life After Graduation. I felt like it was very helpful and gave us an opportunity to work on resumes and website portfolios.”
What has been your favorite part of being in the Honors College?
“My favorite part about being a member of the Honors College would be being surrounded by like minded individuals and other students with a passion for learning”
