Senior Spotlight: Kennedy McBroom

What are your plans after graduating?: Upon graduation, I plan to move to Tampa and work as sales representative in the Sales Leadership Development Program with E&J Gallo Winery.

Why did you choose to join the honors college?: I joined the honors college because I had always been a part of honors programs growing up, and I wanted to continue that growth in college. 

What was your favorite class you’ve taken with the honors college and how has that class impacted you since you took it?: My favorite class was Political Theories of Love with Darren Surman. It really gave me a chance to look into political issues from a caring standpoint, and it has shaped how I look at every decision that others make.

What will you take from the honors college into your life beyond graduation?: The biggest thing that I will take from the honors college is that you have to go out of your comfort zone to learn something new. The classes challenged me in a way that none of my other classes did because they forced me to think in a way that I never had before. I will continue to challenge myself and learn from those around me.
