Name: Grace Langston

Position: Photography Team

Grace Langston is currently a senior studying Creative Media and is obtaining two minors in Leadership Communication and Computing Technology and Applications. She is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, but her family has moved around from Iowa, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and New Jersey and lives in Woodstock, Georgia. Her pets Charlie (Schnauzer mix, 11), Maximus (Cavalier Spaniel, 3) and Truman (Orange Cat, 14) are her pride and joy.

Throughout her time at the University, Grace has participated in a multitude of clubs and organizations. She has been an active volunteer with Serving Bama and currently serves as an assistant team leader, taking students to volunteer with local community partners. In the past, Grace has served with Morning Pointe Assisted Living, the Arboretum, West Alabama Food Bank and the Humane Society. Additionally, she has served as a mentor for underclassmen as a Bama Year One Group Leader and as an Honors Year One mentor. Grace also has been the Historian and the Vice President of Communications and Operations of Sigma Kappa, of which she had been a member for four years. Grace is now adding Mosaic to her long list of extracurricular activities, where she will serve as one of the photographers for the publication.

After she graduates this spring, Grace hopes to build a career in sports production. For the past four years, she has worked with Crimson Tide Productions as an Associate Producer, Xpression Operator, and Dashboard Operator and has fallen in love with live sports broadcasting. She also spent the summer interning with the Southern Illinois Miners baseball team, where she learned to work as a Director, camera operator, replay operator, and Technical Director. Her dream job would be to be employed by ESPN and to work in Bristol, North Carolina.
